Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Just go to the Usage section of your organization, open the Manage billing section and manage your subscription there. If you cannot complete this process yourself, just email us at support@certopus.com from your registered email and we will manually cancel your subscription.
Why do Certopus limits are based on credentials count instead of recipients unlike other vendors?
At Certopus, we believe in being very transparent and upfront to our users in terms of pricing and value. We understand that issuing credentials is not a one-size-fits-all process, and different organizations have different needs and preferences. That’s why we base our limits on the number of credentials issued, rather than the number of recipients. Some vendors may claim to offer unlimited credentials to a very limited number of recipients based on their high pricing plans. This may seem like a great deal at first, but it is actually a prevalent marketing gimmick that does not reflect the reality of credentialing. In practice, an organization may issue on average 5-6 credentials to a particular recipient, while the vendor may lower down the recipient count by 20-30x compared to Certopus. This means that you end up paying more for less value and flexibility. With Certopus, you have higher flexibility to use your credits as you wish, without being restricted by the number of recipients. We value your trust and satisfaction, and we want to provide you with the best credentialing solution possible.
How can I pay for purchasing a Certopus subscription?
You can sign up on Certopus from https://app.certopus.com and need to create an organization for your company. Once you create an organization, you can visit Billing centre in it and make payment for your preferred subscription tier. We use Stripe for processing the payments.
What happens to the issued certificates or badges if we don’t continue our subscription?
We will not remove any of your credentials if you choose to pause or terminate your subscription. Unless you expressly set an expiry date for them, your recipients will be able to access and verify their credentials.
Is there any extra maintenance fees or hidden charges?
There are no additional charges (such as setup or maintenance) in addition to the cost of your subscription tier and any add-on options you've chosen.
What are benefits I enjoy if I pay annually instead of monthly?
If you opt any annual Certopus plans, you enjoy 2 months free and more flexibility to use credits on an annual cycle instead of monthly. For example, Certopus Professional subscription costs $74.99 / month which for 12 months costs $74.99 * 12 = $899 but in case of annual plans you only pay $749. Also in monthly Professional subscription, you are limited to 2,500 credentials per month and 10 events per month whereas in annual plan you get credits for an entire year i.e. 30,000 credentials per year and 120 events per year so you have a greater flexibility to use your credits.
Do you offer any discounts for non-profit organizations?
Yes, we offer 30% lifetime discount on our annual plans to registered non-profit organizations who aligns with any of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. This is our way of saying thank you for your dedication and contribution to the global community.
Can I try Certopus free before purchasing a subscription?

Is my purchase protected with any moneyback guarantee?
Yes, customer satistaction is our topmost priority. In case you are not happy with your purchase, you can get a refund if requested within 7 days of your purchase if you haven't used more than 50 credentials credits. Also once a refund is processed, you will be downgraded to free plan and all issued credentials will be revoked.
