The Story behind
Certopus /Sur-toh-puhs/
While building our solution for streamlining certificate issuance, we often wondered what to name it. We discovered that our solution provided eight key benefits to organizations. Since it related to certificates, "Cert" felt like a natural fit.
We were inspired by the octopus, which has eight arms, and decided to use "opus" from "octopus." By combining "Cert" and "opus," we created the name Certopus.
